KUALA LUMPUR: Building and infrastructure construction services provider TCS Group Holdings Bhd has secured a RM323.00 million contract for main building works of the M Arisa development here.
TCS said its wholly-owned TCS Construction Sdn Bhd had secured the contract from Cosmowealth Housing Development Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Mah Sing Group Bhd.
TCS Construction will be responsible for the main building works of two blocks of 57-storey serviced apartments with 799 units each, 10-storey elevated car park, one level of underground car park, and one level of facility floor at the M Arisa.
The overall duration of the contract is 36 months commencing from the date of site possessions.
TCS managing director Datuk Tee Chai Seng said the contract was a proof of its technical and execution capabilities.
Tee said in total, the company had won three contracts worth RM537.70 million in the past three months.
“Mah Sing is a multiple award-winning developer and we are honoured to have been awarded the construction works for the M Arisa.
“We look forward to working closely with them and forge a long-term relationship with the team at Mah Sing,” he said.
Tee is pleased with the progress and execution of TCS’ expansion plans so far to grow its building construction activities, expand infrastructure construction services, and procure machinery and equipment.
He said the company continued participating in more project tenders, especially institutional buildings and infrastructure projects.
“Moving forward, we remain positive on the group’s outlook underpinned by the gradual recovery of the construction sector, our improved order book as well as our active participation in tenders for both building construction and infrastructure segments,” he added.
